What is the Bois de France label?
Created in 2020, the Bois de France label is based on two fundamental pillars:
- French origin : The wood comes from French forests managed sustainably in accordance with the forestry code.
- Local transformation : The production stages, from assembly to marketing, are carried out in France, promoting short supply chains and thus reducing the carbon footprint.
A label that is part of our CSR approach since the purchase of labeled wood promotes:
- The development and protection of the resource,
- Economic development by promoting certified companies,
- The 100% French Value Chain,
- The short circuit from raw material to the end customer.
Why choose our Bois de France products?
- Respect for the material: The management of French forests is governed by the Forest Code. This guarantees the preservation, maintenance, and renewal of the forest.
- Traceability and sustainability : The label ensures total transparency on the origin and processing of wood products.
- French Transformation: Forestry, production and marketing of products are carried out entirely in France.
- Environmental commitment: As a bio-sourced material, wood is recyclable, reusable, and contributes to the national strategy to achieve carbon neutrality set for 2050.
