In the Annecy metropolitan area, the Maryse Bastié residence has beendeveloped by Action Logement at the request of local companies which are struggling to attract new talent, particularly due to land pressure and difficulties in finding accommodation.
Since September 2025, this new residence has offered 70 furnished apartments, organized around common areas (dining room, laundry facilities). These will allow new employees to settle in smoothly.on the area while giving them time to find a long-term housing solution. The desire to reduce the environmental footprint of the construction (E+C- certification with an E3C2 level) guided the architectural design of the residence, whose facades are made of pre-weathered wood.guarantee the permanence of the aspect, in time.

The project choices
The residence is based on a primary concrete structure and a timber frame envelope with bio-sourced wood fiber insulation.
Prefabricated in the workshop, the facade elements arrived on site insulated, sealed, and clad with an ISB cladding solution. The timber-framed facades are clad with Protect Douglas fir (a French species processed in France), finished with a saturator that nourishes and protects the wood, while leaving the grain visible for a natural and lasting effect.
With 10-year guaranteed protection (wood preservation), the Protect range is available in two species (Douglas and Northern Fir) and in a wide choice of colors (equinox grey for the residence).
ISB cladding is manufactured in France using French wood species (labeled "Bois de France") or European wood species (Northern wood)..
In addition to the Protect saturated cladding, ISB also offers coloured cladding (Extra range), autoclaved (Classic range) et natural wood (Nature range).
